DataFlows SMS for Claude

Send, schedule and track business SMS from your DataFlows account by asking Claude in plain language. The DataFlows SMS connector works in Claude on the web, the Claude desktop and mobile apps, and Claude Code.

How to connect Create a DataFlows account

Requirements

What you need

✓A DataFlows account with SMS credits

✓A sender ID or number on your account (your default sender is used unless you choose another)

✓A Claude account

Setup

Connect in Claude

In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors.

Find DataFlows SMS in the directory and select Connect. If it isn't listed yet, select Add, then Add custom connector, enter the name DataFlows SMS and the URL https://sms.dataflows.com.au/mcp/claude, and select Add.

In a chat, turn the connector on from the + menu, under Connectors.

Setup

Connect in Claude Code

Run this command, then type /mcp in Claude Code and sign in when prompted:

claude mcp add --transport http dataflows-sms https://sms.dataflows.com.au/mcp/claude

Capabilities

What you can do

✓Send SMS to up to 10 numbers at once, from your own sender ID or number

✓Send campaigns to your DataFlows contact groups

✓Preview before you send: recipients, SMS parts, credits needed, and warnings for emoji, long messages, a missing opt-out line or blocked words

✓Schedule messages for later, see what is scheduled, and cancel anything before it sends

✓Check the delivery status of messages you sent and read replies

✓See campaign results and a usage summary of messages sent, credits used and delivery rate

✓Check your credit balance and available senders

✓Claude asks you to confirm before any message is sent

✓A group send must match the recipient count you previewed

✓The same sender ID registration, opt-out and blocklist rules as the DataFlows dashboard apply

Disconnect

In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, select DataFlows SMS and select Disconnect. Disconnecting stops access straight away.
